The Saints played in San Antonio after Katrina...right?
They move this game and somehow fans have to travel to Detroit (through the snow). According to Google...to drive from Minneapolis to Detroit along I-94 is 689 miles. I'm already heading downtown Monday night for the Red Wings-Kings game...so I'll may have to deal with more traffic, yea! The forecast for Monday calls for snow all day and temps in the teens. The crowd will probably resemble crowds that attend the state finals football games around Thanksgiving. I'm putting the over/under at 5000. VikingFan does travel fairly well to games in Detroit when they're playing the Lions but this is another story.

More likely than not the league will give away tickets to the game. It looks a lot better on TV to have a full house than 1000 people paying 75 bucks a seat.

The Chargers played in Phoenix on pretty short notice after fire threatened to engulf the Murph.

Good, we aren't subject to Favremania this week.
Sin,
The out of market areas that were going to get that crap game.

The game won't be aired nationally...only in the Minneapolis and New York markets.

Could be a good crowd at Ford Field tonight...they've called off distribution of the freebie tickets.

And why not? They'll get to watch a legitimate football game for once.Shoalzie wrote:Could be a good crowd at Ford Field tonight...they've called off distribution of the freebie tickets.
