last weekend i visited a new pinball bar. talked to the owner who is australian. i mentioned seeing from her to eternity in the jukebox, and he said he use to play on bills with some early nick cave's band with a name that included "boys" in the title. seemed genuine enough. bar served australian meat pies.
most of the jukebox was modern punk, but it had undertones and buzzcocks and billy bragg so I was impressed.
nick was recently in a car crash. deeeeeeead joe!
