Will likely do nothing for USC's appeal later this month and by the time anything is decided USCs bowl ban and probation may be done but it's good to see that the NCAA is going to have to answer for what they did.

What's funny is that Dee removes Ofallon from the committee because he is a professor of law at Oregon who, as a Pac 10 member may have been sympathetic to USC and replaced him with Nebraska law professor Potuto who had already exhausted all of her terms, then Dee sends a North Carolina Alumni to investigate North Carolinas infractions a few months later.
Potuto said to congress in 2004 that anyone investigated by the NCAA would be given due process and a chance to question their accusers but never allowed USC or McNair to question Lake. It is clear that the NCAA starts with an agenda, and fabricates a case around that agenda. What isn't clear at this point is who sets that agenda in the first place. They had the public support in crucifying the Trojans but now that other programs have been found to have issues as well, it seems that USC is not only not a rogue program but not even close to the dirtiest program in the nation.
The NCAA possibly losing their tax exempt status may be a big deal and USC will have a lot of allies in programs like Boise State and TCU that had been shunned by the NCAA and the BCS. Also look for the BCS, Sugar Bowl and NCAA to face RICO charges based on them conspiring to keep Ohio States players eligible for the Bowl Game when other programs players had to sit out immediately when they were found to break the same rule that the buckeyes players did. Maybe Obama will even throw his request for the playoff system back in to the mix

Bush's parents taking money from a wannabe agent is hardly the same thing as players shooting off guns and selling cocaine on campus.
