Tater Tot Forcier predictably leaves U-M
As a shock to absolutely no one affiliated with Big 11 football or the Forcier family, Tater Tot Forcier has withdrawn from the University of Michigan, with plenty of incompletes on his report cards and F's in effort. The MO of the Forcier family is to cut-and-run when times get tough (see his two brothers) and then transfer to another school where you won't have to work very hard (because the Forcier family deserves to have everything handed to them on sliver platters).
EDIT: Jesus Christ, the family has its own Twitter account? What contemptible piles of shit.

Rack Terry Foster for calling him out, too. Tater Tot Forcier: Die in a hazardous waste spill, and take your father, too.

Tate's been on a downward spiral since the 5th game of his frosh campaign. He doesn't study, parties too much, and has been a bad teammate. The sense of entitlement the Forciers has is curious to me. What have any of the qb's ever accomplished? Thanks for the memories Tate. That ND game was the shit. Good luck with future endeavors...remember the student part of student-athlete, put down the bong and carry yourself with some class.Screw_Michigan wrote:As a shock to absolutely no one affiliated with Big 11 football or the Forcier family, Tater Tot Forcier has withdrawn from the University of Michigan, with plenty of incompletes on his report cards and F's in effort. I will never, and I mean NEVER, rack Terry Foster. He's a hack both in print and on a radio show. Absolutely brutal.

Fuck you guys. What did Terry Forster ever do to you? So he ate and drank a bit too much...he was a fine pitcher and even threw a few innings for my Doyers...

Good riddance!
Re: Tater Tot Forcier predictably leaves U-M
did you guys have the same feelings towards Mallet?
the NCAA is fucked, schools have no loyalty towards players, coaches have no loyalty towards schools or players and the NCAA just wants to fuck over everyone.
If a school can kick a player out to give their scholarship to someone else, then a player should be able to leave, without sitting out for a year, at any time that player wants to.

Well, Mallet was also an immature prick who liked the bud and was not well liked by his teamates. But no Michigan fan that I knew harbored any ill will when he left. Mallet was a prototype drop back, pro style, pocket passer who was well served by going to a more pass oriented style. We all knew he would do well with his cannon and he will most certainly make some nice money this spring. I just hope he matures mentally and can compete and win in the NFL. I also believe that if RRod hadn't sold his sole trying to woo Pryor he could've retained Mallet and worked the offense to his skill set (like Hoke will with D-Rob) 3-9 never happens and RRod is still in AA.SoCalTrjn wrote:did you guys have the same feelings towards Mallet?

Mallett wouldn't have worked with RichRod's system...he had to leave. Mallett is the pro style QB that Michigan was known for prior to the RichRod hire. I don't know if Mallett would've put up 7500 yards and 60 TDs in his last two years at Michigan like he did in Fayetteville but I think he would've still been an NFL prospect regardless because of his size and huge arm. Henne was good for 2500 yards and 20-25 TDs...I think Mallett was capable of that when he had the time to develop. No doubt Mallett would've been the starter had their traditional offensive scheme carried through to the next coach. He certainly would've been the perfect QB for Hoke now.
Forcier is just way too much drama for his talent level (or lack there of). College football today should encourage guys to play elsewhere...the opportunities are there to play for good programs and get plenty of exposure because of the over-staturation of media. There's no sense in riding the pine at a premier program when you can start somewhere else. I don't blame Forcier leaving or Mallett leaving a few years ago...nor would I've blamed Shoelace if he left after Hoke was hired. These guys have only so long that they can play in college...you might as well find a program that wants to use you and not leave you twisting the wind.
On the other hand, I'd fully support any guy that wanted to stay with the program they committed to in the first place. Loyalty goes a long way and there's not much of it out there anymore. These are young men with huge egos and are told from a young age how great they are and have had college coaches drooling over them for years. It's hard to keep a level of modesty and class. The Forcier family has had the rep of being drama queens so the Michigan program is better off not having him around as a distraction.

Dude has shredded his career and now set a match to it. Is it too soon for a "where is he now" piece?

He'll probably end up at some shit D-II program just like his brothers. Nice job there, Pops. Carl Lindros was a better father and adviser than you.

"I just wanted to be closer (to home) so my parents can afford to come to the games."
Yeah, Auburn, Kansas State and Montana are right down the street.
Christ, just stall your car in front of a freight train already, Tatertard.
Yeah, Auburn is gonna want some fucking two-bit hack who couldn't cut it in Ann Arbor. Right. Now Forcier tells ESPN he's considering Auburn, USC, Montana, Kansas State, San Diego State and the University of San Diego.
Forcier is from San Diego.
"Miami is completely on the other side of the country," Forcier told ESPN. "It would have been fun playing there. But I just wanted to be closer (to home) so my parents can afford to come to the games."

Re: Tater Tot Forcier predictably leaves U-M
If he shows up at Auburn our QB situation is in crisis mode.
Which I doubt, seeing as how Gus Malzahn has a freshman from his home state coming in that's supposed to be Cam 2.0.

Hey, you can never have too many whiny midget quarterbacks with popgun arms and mental issues:Carson wrote:If he shows up at Auburn our QB situation is in crisis mode.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A former University of Michigan quarterback was the subject of a strange police call in Grand Rapids last month, according to an officer report released to 24 Hour News 8 on Thursday.
Tate Forcier, who quit the football team earlier this year, had locked himself in a bedroom of a third-floor apartment April 22, and was hanging out the window, the report states.
A woman in the apartment complex, in the 100 block of South Division Avenue, called Grand Rapids police.
No one will say whether this was a suicide attempt, but the police report states the woman who called was concerned Forcier would jump from the window.
Officers were able to get Forcier to open the bedroom door. He was not arrested, but transported to a hospital.
GRPD released a report, redacting several details. When contacted, officers would not provide additional details, citing medical privacy laws.
Forcier has a girlfriend who lives in the Division apartment.
The former football star originally from California was replaced at U of M last season in the quarterback slot by Denard Robinson.
Forcier was declared academically ineligible before the Wolverines played in the Gator Bowl. In February, he announced a transfer to Miami, but on May 13 -- three weeks after the Grand Rapids incident -- it was announced he would not be going to Miami after all.
