As I sit in my private room at Thornton Hospital at UC San Diego, looking out my window at a brilliant blue La Jolla sky, life could not be better.
Got my wifi, got tOSU vs. Wisky on the TV, Kindle for reading at night, lunch is coming, oh yeah and a new bionic hip, what more could I ask for. OK, a fifth of single malt wouldn't hurt. Maybe tomorrow after discharge.
You are one rich SOB. How are you not a Republican?

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

I didn't request it. I just had to list myself as a Republican when I checked in. Not sure but I think that maybe most or all rooms here are private. I swear the atrium lobby looks like a five star hotel, with a grand piano, full grown palm trees, etc. No bar though.
As long as insurance is covering it, I'm not gonna say anything.
Surgery was yesterday in the morning. Discharge tomorrow is optimal, depending on whether they think I can get up and go to the bathroom unassisted. I'm pretty sure I can do that now. PT is coming by in a while to get me walking. There's some pain in the ass right now, but this thing has been a lot easier and more painless than I could ever have imagined.
Oh, and RACK Wisky BTW. Bring tOSU down one more time.

Thanks guys
Walked a few laps around the ward yesterday (with crutches). Will prolly get discharged today start the PT exercises today or tomorrow. Can't sleep too well right now w/o the oxy, but hopefully that will change soon.
That would be awesome. 99% sure I'll be gone by noon, though.
Not too sure, also, how the OL would react if she came by to meet "previously unknown female friend from the internet", if you know what I mean. It would definitely take some 'splainin.
Edit: I answered before I saw your edit. Great minds think alike and stuff.
