argent: hold your head up

Post by King Crimson »

great classic rock, most people don't even know it's "Argent". they had all those other great songs.

keyboard solo is some classic FM.

""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Been familiar with it and knew the band for at least 25 years.

Move this to the "Overplayed" thread.

overplayed is kind of the point here....i thought "cool kitsch" was kind of the Portland thing.

Huh?

If the Portland music scene can be defined by anything, it would be the opposite of "kitsch" (unless you're using a definition I'm not familiar with).

The word "innovation" comes to mind.

seriously? no way. you are the coffee suppers and fixed gear riders in Boulder..........it is kitsch. i saw the minutemen, saccharine trust, suicidal tendencies, husker du, sonic youth in the early 80's. flaming lips, meat pups....but you think, continually, that shit bands like the Decembrists make your takes indie allsome? truth is you are 2nd gen lame about real music. like Portland is, except for lesbo acoustic stuff. i give you the leading edge, there.

please. you are so cool, that you are going to rip on Argent?

and even dumber is that you don't think "kitsch" isn't part of the Portland chic...

without the vitriol of crimson, gotta agree that kitsch is part of the NW indie scene. the scene is old so it was bound to happen.
