5 dollar gas is not that big a problem IF it stays there. The problem is 5 dollars this month then back to 3 dollars next month.

Wild variations fukk up bidnesses big time. Just ask the private operator trucker dude who sees his operating costs double and he can't compete with mega corporations who either bought into fixed price fuel contracts or can just take the loss for awhile as they watch all the private competition go under.

Sometimes I think the gubmint ought to have a variable tax rate on fuel as a means of leveling out the spikes somewhat. Of course, being the gubmint, they'd just use this to jack up the price, then cry about how they couldn't afford to give a tax cut when market prices went up.

you do realize this is all because the reps took over the house.

had the dems kept control, we'd all have solar panels and windmills by now and those sandniggers wouldn't be able to give oil away.

I see you have conveniently forgotten the blame that was piled on the Bush Adminstration by handwringing libtarded half-wits like you the last time gas prices got this high.

Do you need reminders?

I'm with Gobbles. I could care less if gas rises to $20/gal. I don't drive. Rack me. I got mine. Fuck you all.

Wait, I'm starting to sound like a Republican.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Not really the point, as I'm sure you know.

Until recently, I had no idea you were a liberal shitstain as you've never really entered the political arena. Then again, I knew you were from Wisconsin, so that fact should've been apparent out front.

btw, you rersponded to mv calling you a handwringer by calling him a handwringer... the more astute observers here would accuse you of being from KC.

It's precisely the point. If you're going to accuse me of piling blame on former president chucklehead for anything in particular, I assume you can back that up. Otherwise, fuck off.

No, Goobs.

mv didn't accuse you, specifically. He accused halfwitted libtards like you.

Oh, I see. So now we're allowed to just make assumptions about what we think other people believe. BTW, it's not OK to molest your daughter, so just stop right now.

I could bash you for inviteing the government, in essence, to controll the price of diesel, but they already have there hand, in some fashion or another, in so much of the ag world right now that I would sound like a hipocrit.

Ahhhhh...its an interesting topic to level prices out to make fuel expenses in business a constant. What that does is keep those who do not "save for a rainy day" in business for a bit longer. Those of us who save cash and plan for hardships are screwed when the government comes in and bails out those who run there operations on large debt. When hard times come is when those who are efficient shine through and get ahead of those who lose contact with expenses.

Business will always run high debt if they are garuanteed a bailout or help.
Bad spelling is a diversionary tactic
