screw ESPN. i decided i didn't need them a few years ago. when the games are on, what can you do.....but i never watch the pregame, downtime, sportcenter. i'd rather eat glass than listen to Herbstreit's monosyllabic shouting any more than i have to. "whala whalah ahawlahawallla, like i said before Lee/Brent.....". shit, i mute most of the games and rock my tunes. never use the website. i mostly just need a boxscore and a recap....i can get that from the lesser devil yahoo. with hoops, i sometimes read a national writer....but stay away from ESPN.
it's real easy to spot people who talk like ESPN. when they call themselves the opinion leaders, it's no joke. but, it's not a good joke.
edit: i'm not sure exactly what is real ESPN content with the pic and a lot of comments. anyway, no way to love up BSH SEC fan by ESPN to alienate Bama fan. but, i would say...there are probably some uneasy aspects of the Connecticut to Tuscaloosa and Starkville media marriage. people enjoy their institutional racism in different ways. we have it, i'm not pointing to any place more than another. i spent a summer in Boston, liberal Boston as it were....most racist city i've ever been in. and i lived in Nashville, Atlanta, Denver (KKK history in CO is scary; the U of Colorado was founded by KKK members)...etc. and i've been to parts of Connecticut where they wouldn't even let black people work for them....but still see themselves as "not-racist". I guess. if you play tennis all day there's no need for racism.

This is why Saban oversigns.
