What is your longest contiguous (I'm using that word correctly, right? Ahhh, whatever...go fuck your mother.) membership on any message board?

I've been a member of one tech support message board since 2002 and another tech board dedicated to computer video processing since 2003.

Of course, there's always this shit-hole that keeps dragging me back since 2005...

Not sure when exactly, but it was shortly after euroclone came in here and took on the entire board over the ryder cup (I think). that was some hilarious shit.

contiguous means connected, so Ucunt does make a valid point.

That being said, I've been associated with a Jim Rome chat board of one kind or another since SCI in 1997. I even read alt-fans-jim-rome a couple of times. But by then it was a hopelessly sordid clambake.

Longest running for a single board would be this sordid clambake, though I've been part of the jim rome off-shoot boards since 1999. I believe that went SC ---> TOT ---> T1B, with some posts sprinkled in at other various shitholes. My online smacking career all began in the AOL college football chat rooms where I was running SEC tards at 9:07 on 56K dial up.

soonerfans.com since about 00 (then called the roadhouse.com or something...since the HMFiC...the road warrior... was prolific for attending Sooner road games of all kinds). if the so-called OUSOTI/Minister's Board/Sooner Family (?) still exists, i have the King Crimson handle there since before that.

SC III, there was a middle period here (at least for the college football peeps) that was called scobode.com among others.

i've trolled a few Colorado boards since almost then...

It is now 3:45AM EST and I can finally say we are 99% finished. We have some very minor things to double check before we turn the site back on. Unfortunately being 2 days into this with very little sleep has us leaning towards the side of caution as we would like to be a little more alert and have our minds clear to make sure we did not miss anything as well as needing to be 100% dedicated when we do go live just in case someone does find an error that we over looked.

Again my sincere apology for this taking a bit longer and happening a bit sooner then expected but in the end it will be well worth it.

We will absolutely be live latter on today!!!

I think it was his son who dropped a post giving us the news that he had a heart attack while fishing in one of his beloved northern Minnesota lakes. He knew how fond his dad was of his buddies in the NFL forum. Even posted a link to his obituary where 'tart and I (at least) signed the guestbook and gave our condolences.
