Played some 1/2 last week..

like the subject line says...played some 1/2 NL last week at a suprisingly solid table.

Got up 150 bucks relatively quick (less than an hour). After i doubled my money i started limping in just to see flops for 2 bucks..i got lucky a few times ..pulled a few pots of 30ish bucks over the next few hours taking my stack to almost 400 bucks..anyhow...coming to my story..


i get dealt Ks,10c and i raise to 10 bucks..i get one caller....flop comes rainbow Qc,Jh,9d.

i raise 25 bucks...old guy thinks about it ...calls...next card 5c

i raise 33 dollars...dude thinks about it....calls.

last card comes 2c.

i bet 32 bucks..he re-raises all in 37 more bucks...instantly i get disgusted. he hadnt won a hand since he came to the table 2 hours previously so now i'm assuming...no matter if he had a hand or not...he was going to throw his chips away or get lucky.

i called and he flipped over the 6,3 of clubs.

wow. just wow. i got up and left before i lost the rest of my money...went out up 112 bucks. as opposed to leaving probably up almost 3.

i just got extremely UNlucky with a guy obviously looking to leave the casino.

oh yea..forgot to mention i was at the table with a cat that was at the WSOP a few years ago and made it on tv a while....he was in a motorized wheelchair..didnt really have full function of his hands...but made hella great conversation...
