old timey turntable white album

Post by King Crimson »

my uncle use to have this white version, he get high and babysit me. we'd rock it on his Technics turntable with Help! the cowbell is way better here than any jokes about it. i love this late Lennon stuff. ringo's snare sound is so crisp and tight.

""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

Still got my vinyl copy of the white album, along with Abbey Road, Sgt. Peppers, Rubber Soul, Revolver, etc., etc. Still pull them out once in a while - they're mostly in good shape.

Never saw that before. Got the yellow vinyl 'Yellow Submarine' re-issue when it came out and was well pleased with myself.

That's vinyl. When all the technical arguements are said and done that's what it's down to, everything else just sounds flat. Never owned a CD player, never will - CD rot is ten years overdue and if it doesn't kick in soon I'll look like a twat for all the spouting off I've done.

And Paul McCartny played it... thought that was common knowledge.

I have one as well, via my parents - somehow managed to not destroy or sell it over the years
