Best video game trailer I've ever seen...
Apparently the logo with the zombie hanging from the palm tree had to be removed from the game's boxart in North America because we found it too "offensive".
So good.

They should have some kind of pendulum-style game where you are 60 feet up in the air in a cherry picker taping football practice during 60-mph winds and you try to keep yourself balanced upright or else you fall to your death. Kind of like those arcade skiing games that cost $1 to play. Call it "Brian Kelly's Practices."

It's obviously intended for the pre-teen crowd.88 wrote:What kind of world are we turning into?
To capture the imagination of teens, they're gonna have to get some meat grinders or wood chippers involved.

I just watched that trailer. Good Christ, that game looks depressing. Whatever happened to Grand Theft Auto?
Re: Best video game trailer I've ever seen...
Honestly, I'm that tard you'll see at Dave & Buster's hanging out at the Centipede machine with a Diet Coke. And, I still own the hand held plug in joy stick controllers that have the "Dig-Dug", "Galaga", and "Ms. Pac-Man" built into them.
I just thought that the Dead Island trailer was pretty war. Different than anything I've seen done so far.
If you wanna play a depressing game, play PS3's "Heavy Rain". Awesome as hell, but...geesh.

Ana, couple years ago this company I worked for had an outing at D&B in Bethesda. I spent the whole time playing Street Fighter II Turbo and NBA Jam TE. War early 90s arcade games!

I bet that guy went straight from making that commercial, to the set next door to make one for the "keytar".

Dig-Dug - loved that game. Dropped many a quarter in that frustrating bastard. Sucked at Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man but Pac-Man itself, figured the pattern out eventually and could play on a quarter until my arm got tired.Ana Ng wrote:"Dig-Dug", "Galaga", and "Ms. Pac-Man" built into them.
Anybody remember an Atari game called Mega-Mania? I don't think it was ever in arcades but I could play that fucker for hours.

Hey Tardlover, if you download an NES emulator (think nesticle might still work) and download the Tyson rom, you can play it on your computer.titlover wrote:if they sold some cheap version of teh old Nintendo that had Tyson'spunch out on it, i could play that non stop.

Re: Best video game trailer I've ever seen...
I picked it up last night.
The gameplay (of course) includes neither zombie kids attacking you or vice versa. The trailer was just for shock value.
The bad: There were a couple of quirks here and there, like finding barbed wire in someone's suitcase (???)
The good: They find some creative ways to startle you without resorting to horror movie cliches and the main storyline is pretty compelling.
I give it 4 out of 5 Personalities

It was definitely the goriest game that I've played, but I was referring specifically to stuff llike killing your own zombie daughter by throwing her out a two story window.Ana Ng wrote:You're funny.OCmike wrote:I picked it up last night. The trailer was just for shock value.

Interesting game. Got into the Zombie stuff that came with CoD World At War, fun with multiplayer.
Thanks.
Thanks.
With all the horseshit around here, you'd think there'd be a pony somewhere.
