How many pushups can you do?

I tried this program before and fell off the wagon during week 3. FWIW, I am under 40/Rank 3 to start. My last time out I managed just over 25 in the post week 2 test.

depends on how picky you want to be. if you wanna see some pitiful pushups, watch a bunch of navy reservists do their twice a year PFT. my old CO was in pretty decent shape. he could prolly bang out 50 good ones, but, that fukker did a kind of wave thing. typical nuke, using physics to figure out the most efficient way to do a pushup. of everyone i saw doing them, maybe 10% did what i would call respectable pushups.

i usually do around 60, halfway decent. could probably do 40 really good ones.

I do 4 sets of 50 pretty much every day. I don't think I've ever done more than 75 consecutively.
