The Alan Parsons Project
Probably the first song I had ever heard from this band.
or maybe it was this one, dunno. Not bad for a fat fuck.
their best song, at least the one I like best.

Re: The Alan Parsons Project
RACK you, Whitey.
Was listening to some live APP last night. I don't listen to much classic rock anymore and I can't say I'm a huge APP fan who knows all the deep cuts, but Eye in the Sky is a great album and Alan Parsons is an even bigger genius than say Elvis (Sup tardhusker?).
Rack Alan Parsons.
Edit: that Eye in the Sky video blows, it isn't even live. Here is a live version:

Alan Parsons was the lead engineer on the Beatles Abbey Road and Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon albums - yes, he was well schooled.

Live or not, at least it was Alan Parsons singing it. That live version, not so much but hey, you got the Bulls intro in there.Screw_Michigan wrote: Edit: that Eye in the Sky video blows, it isn't even live. Here is a live version:
you may not have heard this one, chosen for the sound quality, not for if it was live or not.

Re: The Alan Parsons Project
Who told you that?
Some songs/versions are better live, most often they are not.
You're impressed by shiny baubles, I get that, but don't fool yourself into thinking live is always better.

Nine times out of 10 it is. I understand you're comfortable in routine and the same old shit. Which is my most dullards are satisfied with albums (sup Mgo?).

Re: The Alan Parsons Project
Did you have a comment you wanted to make about The Alan Parsons Project?
Were they satanic, did they worship Dems, were they fags?
That kinda' stuff.
I just like the music, btw.

The comment I was making was in response to you thinking that AP was actually singing. The fact is that he was always using guest vocalists.War Wagon wrote:Did you have a comment you wanted to make about The Alan Parsons Project?
Oh, and side one of The Best of The Alan Parsons Project was an utterly clutch player in the "Getting BSmack Laid" category during the 80s.
