If you are so familiar with Sugar Land as you claim, then you would think you would at least spell it correctly, with the space between the words. You would also think you would know that it has been named as one of the best places to live in the country multiple times. No desire to live in River Oaks, he'll I rarely go inside beltway 8 unless it is to go to work or to a show on the weekends.
Look, I lived in Houston for 15 years... and I spelled "Sugarland" the way I see it... a shit hole.
Houston is one giant suburb and the cool people live inside the "loop".
The fact you wouldn't want to live in "River Oaks"... by the way, happens to be one of the richest neighborhoods in the United States... says it all.
I see "Sugarland" as nothing more than a glorified "Humble" or "Champions" off FM 1960.
Hell, "University"... where you went to school (Rice) is ten times the neighborhood that "Sugarland" is.
I grew up in San Francisco... the most beautiful city in the WORLD... so my view of cool and beautiful is a bit slanted.
Sugarland... is not a place you'd EVER want to spend the rest of your days living in if you had half a brain.
By the way, my ex girlfriend went to Rice at the age of 16...being that she was the top student in the city of Houston during here time in high school.
Don't get me wrong... I love Houston.
Houston made me enough money to retire before I was 30 years old...
Good luck on your new adventures... Lefty.
