...have I ever watched two football games, not involving Alabama, with so much intenseness (is that a word?) and excitement as I did the USC-Oregon and Oklahoma-Baylor games.

Could two games, with so much impact on Alabama's season, have possibly come down more to the wire and ended so bizarrely (is that a word?)!?

1. I think intensity is the word you're looking for there.

2. I'm pretty sure bizarrely is a word. Bizarre is an adjective, it follows that bizarrely would be an adverb.
