The Pac still won't get good national exposure if they play their games at 7 or 8 pm local time.
Re: The Pac-12 is poised to overtake the SEC as the nation's
Do we need a reason?
Re: The Pac-12 is poised to overtake the SEC as the nation's
If the PAC played 4 high schools every year for OOC games AT HOME... they'd have a team in the MNC game every year.... it's that simple.
When was the last time an SEC team came to the West Coast and played an OOC game during the regular season and won against a top team in the PAC ???
The SEC could never handle the meat-grinder that is the PAC 12 ... where the PAC plays teams from all parts of the country on the road in OOC games.
Hell, Cal is going to "The Shoe"... next year to take on Ohio State ... when has an SEC team EVER done that ???
We've seen the SEC's act when they come to the West Coast and have to play teams like Cal, Oregon, Standfurd, fUCLA, and U$C during the regular season.
If an SEC team had to play a PAC 12 schedule week in and week out... they'd be worn out and would end up in the basement of the PAC.

Who is "Milton" ???
Provide a link to this... you swamp hillbilly.
The only school that would be close to qualifying for academic status in the PAC that plays in the SEC ... is Vanderbilt.
And it's not close.
Psst... Cal has 82 National Championships in NCCA sports... how many does that "white trash" barn on the Gulf Plains... and losers of the Civil War... have ???
Cal has 5 MNC's in College Football.... how many does Allbarn have ???

Allbarn and any other SEC team... can't come close to Cal when it comes to academics and sports...
82 National Championships....

Brock is going to be a pretty impartial guy, huh?
the thing i get around here in Boulder is how the new Pac contract is going to make all the teams great and the Pac dominant excludes two things.
1. even a "rich" conference will STILL have doormats and losers. Larry Scott may be a flying unicorn, but both teams can't win every game. people are still going to finish last.
2. SEC/Big 10 TV contracts will equalize once they come around for reneg.
