The ghosts of 1917, exorcized!

Oregon finally gets off the Big Game OOC shneid. Congrats to the Ducks, and a hearty "fuck you!" to Dins for not coming in here and representing.

Congrats anyway, though. You won a damn Rose Bowl, dude!

Then there's Cal. Will there ever be a rainbow?

Props to the Ducks. Seeing the Badgers lose is never a bad thing.

If you think they got it right, why should they have given Wisky another play? That seriously makes zero sense.

Because it was teetering on the edge of a call that could go one way or the other. And to let the game continue could have possibly sent the game into OT.
The clock either ran out before Wilson spiked the ball, or it didn't. It did. Game over.

Unless you work in the janitor's closet of a Buffalo Wild Wings that still makes zero sense.

Their job isn't to try to put the game into OT. Their job is to get the call right, regardless of which team or circumstance the call will favor.

Done.
With no instant replay, that might very well have happened but, with it, they were able to determine that the clock, like your brain, had expired.

You're right, even though you admit the officials made the correct call?

Uh...okay!

No, it would've been the incorrect call.

The correct call is the one the officials make.

If they had ruled to add one second onto the clock, that would have been the correct call.
Take another drink and pass out. Please.

Exactly -- when you routinely play in bigtime games, you lose some here and there.

Doesn't mean you're a loser, it means you find ways into bigtime bowls.

He meant...other than the team that gave LSU their best game this year, Oregon was the team that gave LSU their best game this year.

Geez, it was just a caption for a coach eating his own boogers on national tv.
