Where are they now...Ricky Powers edition.

Good to see Powers giving back to the community. I always thought he kinda got screwed, but when you have Tyrone Wheatley, you have to give him the rock.

nice read.

be kinda interesting to do an off-season, #2 backs list. you have Priest Holmes who didn't get much love or totes at UT, but had a very good NFL career. or: Lamont Warren at Colorado who played for the Colts for 5-6 years but turned pro after his JR year since he wasn't ever going to see the ball in McCartney's I with Salaam. Tashard Choice who committed to OU the same year as Adrian Peterson, transferred to Ga Tech...had some nice seasons. was on the Cowboys roster for a few years. Glyn MIlburn transferred to Stanford from OU in the late 80's. was kind of a Bronco fave son. another Bronco fave is OU's Steve Sewell. Sewell avg something crazy like 15 yards a touch at OU but didn't see the ball much. another guy t-ferred to USC in the 70's from OU and had a nice NFL career, forget his name. that was the Pruitt, Washington, Sims string, somewhere. not a lot of feature back carries there.

and i give you Roger Craig maybe as item #1. Rozier wins the Heisman, but Craig was scary.

in theory. i shot my wad right there.

thurman was pretty good in his own right....and i think there was more than year separation between them in classes. so, wasn't like today when the stud FR is all of a sudden the man.
