Show was almost watchable for a little last year. Might still be if I didn't have to listen to the fukking announcer say they were all gonna starve if they don't hit gold RIGHT FUKKING NOW!!!!!! every ten minutes.

And they divided up the gold last night. The worker drones each got $ 8,000 for 5 months work. That is $ 1,600 for each month they were there. Less living expenses of course. And that fat bastard with the billy goat gruff beard is saying..they can all go home now and be able to pay their bills, and be back again next season to kick ass.

93 ounces of gold at todays price of $ 1,774 is $ 165,075. Less 40 grand to the workers is $ 125,000. 50% operating expense if they are lucky and frugal,at $ 62,500 leaves them with $ 62,500. Divided by 2 equals $ 31,250 each. Pretty skimpy for having 200k or so tied up in equipment and having enough cash to go back there next year. Just does not pencil out at all.

The only thing worse is Bering Sea Gold. Fuckin soap opera drama with an occasional tit shot from the one chick thrown in. Unwatchable.

The money they get paid for the show far out weights the money they make. And most of the Axeman dudes spend the money they make from the show in a couple of months, they drink it up, snort it up and in general piss it all away. Most of them are broke again in less than 6 months. Seen them spending it at the Cedar Side Inn in Vernonia last spring, and a dude I know up there told me they will snort a gram a night right after they get paid.

Yeah, these "reality" shows are a fukking joke. Announcer dude seems to think that if he just tells you every three minutes that these guys are gonna be homeless if they don't hit a glory hole right now, we'll believe it. I'll watch that show again, as soon as old jack flips that excavator over and crushes his glory hole and his fat retard kid.

Of these dumb fukking shows, the only characters I like are the fukking swamp necks. Glen and Mitchell are just too fukking strange to be made up. And that crazy swamp logger fukk, Shelby, is the man. Did a little bit of reading about him and apparently, he is as fukking crazy as he seems on the show. The swamp gator hunter show has some pretty cool characters also.
