Stupid roster question

Does it make any difference, scoring wise, whether a pitcher is penciled in as either a SP, P, or RP?

If yes, please explain what the difference is.

If no, why the different classifications?

For instance, if I've got Santana slated as P instead of as SP when he goes out today and get's his 18th straight win, is there any difference in the stats that the juicers will get credit for?

Nope ... scoring is the same.

The different classifications exist because you can only start a certain number of starters and relievers. Think of the P designation as you would a flex position in FFL, Wags.

Simply put, it can either be a starter or reliever there.
