Nada Surf was awesome Tuesday

As many of you may, or may not know (in that case, go fuck yourselves), I am a huge Nada Surf fan and I saw them live for the third time Tuesday at the 9:30 Club in the FUCKING DISTRICT. They are the best live value in rock. The new album songs are great live, especially Teenage Dreams, When I Was Young and Clear Eye, Clouded Mind. They blew through Whose Authority and Concrete Bed in about 90 seconds each. Hyperspace is easily their best live song but they don't play it too often, but they did Tuesday. Rack that.

It was awesome to attend a 9:30 show that wasn't overbooked. It was 3/4 full with lots of personal space and easy access to the bar. Sound was great as always too.

9:30 is consistently rated the best small concert venue in the US and it's no surprise why. Rack Seth Hurwitz!
