Obama campaigning in Texas is like Romney giving a speech at an NAACP convention.

If I saw that I would just say that's messed up and leave it at that.

It most definitely is and proud to fucking be Texas. I lived in Texas for 16 years. It might be tough for you to envision, but Texans really aren't consumed with red state politics. They don't get too wound up but would just as soon you fuck the fuck off and leave them alone.

Texas is about BBQ...and chili. Oh yes, and guns. Texas is about BBQ, chili and guns. Well, and music. OK, Texas is about BBQ, chili, guns and music.

Some people here don't give a shit about college farceball, never visit that forum, and may not be aware that HS football is it's own 'religion' in Texas.

Yes, Texas is all about putting the poor in their places, using them as fodder for fans in 3500-enrollment HS football factories.

Fuck Texas.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

The chief idiot in charge also visited San Antonio yesterday. Screwed traffic up for hours so that it felt like SoCal.

He also pissed off a convention or three. These conventions are the life blood of SA and when his fundraiser got too large for the hotel it was booked in, it was moved to the convention center. A lunch planned 18 months ago was forced to hold until 2:00 from its 11:45 time and a second convention was prevented from setting up until 4:00 when that was scheduled for 7:30. Lots of noise about what this will do to the convention image of the city and who will pay for it.

But having raised $4 million yesterday ($35,000 per couple) the DNC should have no problem footing these bills.

He screwed up Austin traffic bad too, but he was downtown and south towards the airport. Glad I live in the north suburbs and got to miss all the crap.

He came to Madison a while back. Pretty cool seeing Air Force One land and take off from about a mile or so away. It looks like it’s flying extremely slowly.

He;s due here Friday. This area is not exactly a bastion of the left. Maybe he'll give another inspiring speech about individual responsibility and success in our land of liberty. I'll know he's here by the lack of air traffic. And I'll know he left by the bull shit in the paper the next day.

Texas, especially Austin, has some of the hottest women so add that to the list too.
