Fantasy perspective: Trade Buerhle or Beckett?

Post by Roofer »

If you were going to give up one of those two to bring in some more pop at the plate, which would you be willing to give up more.

I'm leaning towards Buerhle.

I wouldn't even think about trading Beckett.

Yeah, I decided to offload Buerhle.

Buerhle, Inge and Baez for Torii Hunter, Javy Lopez and Barry Zito.

 Dude, let it go man. My whole point about Kobe was, if he became a more team oriented player, then the Lakers would be alright. If he continued to be Kobe as usual, it was gonna be bad news, which as we all know, ended up being the case. I am only guilty of foolishly thinking the Black Hole could be successful at making those around him better....definitely bad call on my part.

And I gotta go with trading Buerhle over Beckett, only because I think the Fish are in it for the long haul, and the White Sox are a breath away from implosion. Of course, that means I'll have to figure out what to do with Garland down the line.

How's that for a starting 5.....Santana, Beckett, Garland, Buerhle and Gachin.

Yeah, the Chacin bandwagon is really rolling, aint it Roofer? 8)

Trading Buerhle was a good idea, that pitching staff is going to go to hell once the weather warms up and Comiskey... errrr..... US Fuckular turns into longball city.
Say this three times fast.....

That's going to be a great trade for you if Zito gets his stuff together. Hunter is having an All-Star year and Lopez is having another Lopez-like year as well. Nice job!
