Let me think this over. Let's say I charge you $1 for a candy bar. Next week I decide to charge you only 90¢. The week after I charge you $1 again. Is there not a 10¢ increase from week #2 to week #3 ??
Mikey: you're either the dumbest fuckhead on this board or you're a skilled troller. I hope it's the latter.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy paying your not tax increase next April.

I almost forgot. Your oh so smart ass response will be:

I saw Obama on Letterman blame a chunk of the deficit on George Bush's tax cuts, He left out the part about his administration extending them.

It is. His sole goal these days is to get reelected, and showing up on Letterman will likely achieve more towards that end than dicking around with the latest batch of Islamic psychos ever could.

You guys seem to think that there's something to be calmed down in the Middle East. What, exactly, is there for the President to calm down in the Middle East? Oh yeah, it's on fire, I forgot. After all, we saw it on TV just this week. Sort of like, based on some bath deprived hippie wannabes in NYC, the entire US is marching on banks and stock brokers. So, he's supposed to sit in some situation room 24/7 doing something to "calm down" the Middle East. OK. Right. I get it now. That's what Presidents do.

I'm still trying to grasp why the "expiration of tax cuts" is somehow different than a "tax hike" when it comes to my own personal cash flow. I'm supposed to feel so much better when I cut a bigger check to the US Treasury come April 15th when it's called the expiration of tax cuts.

Amazing.

LET'S RAISE TAXES ON THE RICH!!!!!!!

Mikey's People

Of course, if we taxed the top 1% of the "rich" at 100% and took every penny, it wouldn't cover a full day of deficit spending...

But we have a "revenue problem," right?

And that's not "class warfare"?

Here's an idea -- throw every last one of the bums out, rather than playing this stupid party game.

No, no. They're just "temporary" tax cuts...which have been in place for eleven years. Not a "tax hike" at all.

See?
