Damn you, Carson. Was hoping to gain a game or two back in the standings.

Dang, my weekly results share a certain likeness to the Texas Longhorns. Pathetic and sad.

War Wagon's co-worker to whom he introduced the board.King Crimson wrote:who is baked goods? sounds like of the even more lamely titled medical marijuana stores in boulder/denver....
Somebody else pulled a similar move a few years back -- won Week One, then disappeared from the game until bowl season.
Still fascinated by picking tendencies of the board as a whole. There were some spectacular misses this week, and a number of posters beat or tied what would have been the consensus picks this week (6):
1. West Virginia (28, actually had more picks than Oklahoma, which was the leading team in the must pick game)
2. Kansas State (22)
3t. Baylor (17)
3t. Florida (17)
5. Oklahoma State (15)
6t. Boise State (12)
6t. South Carolina (12)
8t. Louisville (11)
8t. Ole Miss (11)
Taking those nine teams plus Oklahoma (consensus in the must-pick game) would've been a 6-4 record this week, with some pretty disastrous results (West Virginia, Baylor, Oklahoma State) in there. Interesting that the four teams at the bottom of the list all won.

But we didn't lose ground either...
Re: CFB Pickem Results - Week 7
Thanks for all the congrats here fellas but as much as it pains me to do this...
88:
I actually only had 8 picks correct this week. I picked LSU (not Louisville), who decided to screwjob me by letting the Gamecocks score that last TD. Thus, someone else is gonna take this week since I was wayyy off on the tiebreaker.
This one really hurts, especially since this is probably the closest I'll ever get to winning this damn thing.
