carson's 68% is pretty strong.

Every week I think to myself I'm going to pick up a game or two on Carson. He is not human.

My picks are about as reliable as the Texas Defense.

Not too good...and even better when the games I chicken out on would've covered.

My secret?
I don't bet cash on picks.
If I did, I'd be at the bottom.

Not bad for someone who has absolutely stunk up the joint this year. I forgot to pick 3 weeks I think and then the other weeks have been a turd salad. This was the first week I even topped more than 5 picks. I rode that NEB pick into the ground until it finally hit. I figured I had a shot when my tie breaker was damn near the actual combined score of the OU/ND game.
It's a good thing I don't bet money on these games...

It would have been impossible for Wisconsin to cover without winning. Awfully damn hard to win when you can't run the ball and you can't pass the ball.Sudden Sam wrote:Fuck Wisconsin. Fuck Oklahoma. Fuck Toledo. Fuck Texas. Fuck Maryland.
How hard would it have been for those 5 teams to cover?

Re: Week 9 CFB Pickem Results
One week where picking with the board consensus wouldn't have done much good:
1t. Ohio State (W)
1t. USC (L)
3. Oregon State (L)
4. Texas (L)
5t. Kansas State (W)
5t. Rutgers (L)
7t. Boise State (W)
7t. Texas A&M (W)
9t. Oregon (W)
9t. Florida (L)
Throw in Oklahoma, which got more picks than ND in the must-pick game, and that translates into either a 5-5 record (if one's last pick had been Oregon) or 4-6 (if one's last pick had been Florida).
