Barner had a career game... as expected against a horrible southern CAL team that got shit on by the desert rats last week.
The "interception machine" was up to his old tricks and just landed himself in the 4th round of the NFL draft as a perennial clipboard holder as all SuC qb's end up being.
Now it's time to turn my attention to watching paint dry on CBS.

No shit.
I feel like I'm having DT's after watching the PAC's finest.
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one

Yep, if that score holds up we might see a K-State-Oregon matchup.KC Scott wrote:Looks You won't need to as K-state will be the new # 1 with Bama choking outMace wrote:Props to the Ducks for kickin' ass tonight. I'm not sure if Oregon or K-State could beat 'Bama but I'd pay to watch either matchup.
Re: So, Van
You mean the 484 yards and five TDs he threw, which easily could have been six had Agholar not dropped one, or seven (or more) had they not had those two turnovers by Lee in the redzone? Yeah, I guess he was up to his old tricks.M2 wrote:The "interception machine" was up to his old tricks
See, he only had one legitimate pick. The other one was completely on Lee.
So, one real pick out of fifty-four attempts? A number of perfectly thrown loooooooong bombs along with countless other perfectly thrown mid-range darts?
Did you even watch the game?
Want to bet on that one? Barkley looked damn good tonight and last week as well, all things considering. He certainly did nothing to hurt his high first-round draft stock.and just landed himself in the 4th round of the NFL draft
NFL GMs are a little smarter than that, M2. They aren't going to hold USC's poor defense against him. What they saw tonight was further confirmation that he's easily the best pro-style QB in all of college football.

I really haven't watched enough of USC to be able to say that without a doubt. But he looked good. The kid from Georgia is pretty good too.Van wrote:NFL GMs are a little smarter than that, M2. Being a long suffering fan of an NFL team that hasn't drafted a decent QB since Len Dawson (and I don't really know that they did indeed draft Lenny The Cool) I'd give my left nut to have
either of them.

Lenny was not drafted by KC, he was the 5th overall pick of the Steelers in 57. That was a fun game to watch however. Never thought I would ever see USC get lit up like that.

Re: So, Van
ok, so the Chiefs have never drafted a QB that peed a drop. The last time they took a QB with their first round pick was 1983. Todd Blackledge, who was such an epic flame-out they've never taken that risk on a QB again.
I went to a game, in 1986 I believe it was. Blackledge threw 5 INT's in the first half against the Los Angeles Rams. I think they wound up losing that game 19-0. I left at halftime and didn't return to Arrowhead for at least another 10 years.
