Darrell Royal, legendary Texas coach and only positive export from Oklahoma died today in my home town of Austin Texas. He was highly regarded around town not only for his football success, but for being a genuinely great man. Texas has announced that their first offensive series against Iowa State they will line up in the wishbone formation in his honor.
Royal no more.

respect to the man and his accomplishments on his passing.
fool throwing out some smack about the state of Oklahoma which is pretty unnecessary here. and unthinking.
given the nature of the rivalry.

Didn't hear about it beforehand, but I saw the highlight of their one wishbone play. Awesome tribute, and a big gain to boot. This'll probably be the first and last time I type this, but rack Tejas.
