The main strategic advantage Borges had and he ran his fat fuck of backward straight into the backs of our useless interior line while Denard stood on the sideline. I'm not sure if any of you know this but Denard is our best option in the run game, Gardner's our second, and Denards our 4th, 5th, and 6th. I've watched nearly every down of Michigan football this year and I honestly don't remember Thomas Rawls ever running for positive yards unless he fell forward right after taking the handoff.

Good to see The Game is still a rivalry (and rack this year's outcome). By my count, next year's game has to be a tie to completely reverse the Cooper debacle.

i'll take a tie. our line is going to suck just as bad and borges is going to be just as insistent we establish the line of scrimmage.

on the other hand, at least denard will be gone and i'll be much more understanding of running the ball straight into a wall of defenders while sitting your one pair of fresh dreads on the sideline. vincent smith has them too but he sucks, unless he's blocking. but then again he's 5'1" so he sucks.

Shoelace better get used to being a decoy because he's not playing QB after the bowl game. If he can learn to catch short passes or return kicks, he'll have an NFL career because he's obviously got the wheels to play on the next level.

For the bowl game, there's no sense in expecting Robinson can play QB with a bum arm...get him on the field as a tailback or a slot receiver. I'd go with those student body left/right run plays that worked in the first half and see if he can handle catching some bubble screens or quick slants to get him the ball in space/on the perimeter.

Running him between the tackles and expecting this line to play big boy football is foolish and hopeless. This line hasn't been able to blow up the better defensive lines they've gone against this year (Bama, State, Nebraska, tOSU). If Lewan is some hot shot prospect...Jake Long could poop things bigger and tougher than Lewan.
