And I don’t see why a ruling in a civil matter would affect the NCAA’s administrative ruling at all. The ruling, if I read it correctly, was denying a motion to dismiss in McNair’s defamation case. That has no impact on USC’s punishment with the NCAA.

And Patrick was opining, much like you, that USC should take a full allotment of scholarships this year. If Haden told Kiffin to take a full class, I can see why he failed the CA bar exam, twice.
