This woo-woo bullshit is laughably stupid on its face. A Treasury Dept. slug is supposed to have manuevered the US and Japan into war all by himself? These people don't even bother trying to come up with credible theories anymore. Why should they when the average mouthbreather can't find his ass with both hands?

There was no Japanese threat to Siberia. Zhukov crushed the Japanese 6th Army at Khalkhin Gol with a beautifully executed double envelopment in August-September 1939. That defeat and the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact signed on Aug 24, 1939 ended any Japanese ambitions against the Soviet Far East. The Japanese and Soviets signed a neutrality pact of their own in April of 1941. The Japs were bogged down in China by that time and the American oil embargo forced the Japanese efforts south towards the oil rich Dutch East Indies.

The US and Japan were on a collision course that had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the efforts of any Soviet rats in FDR's administration.
