I drove thru Joplin on Thanksgiving day on the way to my sisters place in Tulsa. 18 months after that monster tornado tore thru there, it's still pretty devastated.

Some natural disasters take years to recover from. Some are never recovered from. Joplin will eventually recover, thanks to efforts like these.

mizzou plays some football. not until august of next year, but they did some time ago.
