24-7 record after beating Toronto on Sunday.
As Berman noted at the end of "Baseball Tonight", it's their best start since 1919.
I wonder what happened that year?

RACK the White Sox!
“If you look at folks of color, even women, they’re more
successful in the Democratic Party than they are in the white, uh,
excuse me, in the Republican Party.” (NPR Interview Of Howard Dean

I'll give them their due but we're not quite a 1/4 of the way through the season. Can their pitching keep up this torrid pace? I liked their rotation going into the season but I had my doubts about their lineup. It's a total team effort at this point...I wouldn't consider any or their hitters for MVP. Certainly, Buerhle and Garland are Cy Young contenders thus far.
When you see that they're 15th in the Majors in runs scored, hitting .258 as a team (18th in the Majors) and a team slugging percentage of .399 (22nd in the Majors)...that's just a sign of how important their starting pitching has been. They do lead the majors in steals but for how low of a team batting average they have, they're getting guys on and moving them into scoring position with hit and run, steals and sacrifices.
This is a team playing great baseball right now but I'm having a hard time calling them a great team. If they sneak their way into the postseason playing this way, they'll make a believer out of me eventually. I'm sure some of my feelings are from being a fan of a rival team but I really have just don't know how much longer they can keep doing this. They play in a competitive division...the Twins were the consensus preseason pick and the Indians and Tigers are up-and-coming teams. Time will tell how good these guys really are.
