Not really liking Oregon's chances of retaining Chip's services for too much longer here.

Which PAC team had the most wins in the 90's again?
Hint: It wasn't USC, UDub, or UCLA.
As far as Chip goes... maybe, maybe not. Comes down to ego/ambition vs money. Last season, with all the bonuses and perks, his $1.8 mil base went to about $3.5 mil (state employee, matter of public record), putting him in the top 6, or something like that. If he's not sucessful in the NFL, he's gone in a couple of years (or gets an OC job somewhere). Rookie NFL HC isn't going to get much more than 3.5 mil. If he stays, he can probably stay forever, and while sanctions will kill off some bonuses temporarily, he's not going to get a long term pay cut.
Frankly, staying would be better for his finances.

If by "wins" you mean which PAC team had the best 3rd and long defense in the second quarter with under four minutes on the road under partly cloudy skies with 10 MPH winds in odd numbered years against teams with mammals as mascots...then the answer is Cal.Dinsdale wrote:Which PAC team had the most wins in the 90's again?
