Every now and then I give the commies at Sirius left a shot. Have listened to a few different ones to see if somebody, ANYFUKKINGBODY on that side can at least try to make a case for their side. The ones I listened to today for about 45 minutes were particularly bad. They said absolutely nothing and spent most of that stretch attempting to make a joke out of Dick Armey's name.

Do any of you commie pinko fukks have any suggestions? Does anyone have anything other than rich people suck, george bush stupid...blah...blah...blah? About 15 years ago when I lived in Nashville there was a guy on the air on weekends that was almost listenable. Can't say I have heard any others.

It's not like they are going to brainwash you, ya think? MSNBC? You're joking. At least Fox News gives air/face time to folks like Juan Williams and many others to state their opinions. The day I see a real conservative on MSNBC other than for mockery will be the first.

I listen to Rush sometimes, although he is too much of a GOP bootlicker for my tastes, Hannity even more. I much prefer WIlkow who is on during Rush's time slot on Sirius. He has more of a libertarian bent to him. I actually like a number of Rush's regular subs such as Mark Kline and Walter Williams, who is about the smartest mofo on the radio. MSNBC is a farce, especially that crazy old fukk with the tingly leg, Chris Matthews.

I guess it basically comes down to the fact that it's kinda hard to have a decent show about the benefits of socialism, as there aren't any.

On the Right, Dennis Miller is always good to listen to. He keeps me on my toes with his political/cultural inside baseball type jokes and obtuse references to a large number of people and occasions that are meaningless to young people and Kardashian watchers. He's one of the last consistently and genuinely funny people in Hollywood these days.

All Things Considered on NPR does a decent job of presenting the left's viewpoint.

Stewart and Colbert are at least entertaining on a pre-recorded half hour show. Doing it a few hours a day with a net and writers telling you what to say is different.

Also, they primarily make fun of people. I am talking about someone who can make an intelligent argument for left wing ideas. I've yet to see anyone do it. I suspect this is because it can't be done.

Show me anyone that can articulate the liberal philosophy intelligently and how it works better than the conservatism. This is different than just making fun of conservatism.

And there is a big difference between 15 hours of live radio and a 1/2 hour of delivering an army of writers matterial. I am not saying that it isn't a talent itself, it is just a different one. And it doesn't require a great deal of intelligence. It requires comedic delivery ability.

You're right, I was joking about msnbc but Juan Williams is not exactly a liberal concession by Fox.
You probably didn't notice since you're probably too busy burying your own head in the sand but Michael Steele, as well as several other conservative commentators, was a regular presence on msnbc during the elections.

Are you kidding? Try offering ONE right-wing apologist--from Buckley to Krautenhammer--who even begins to make sense. Every single one of them is of course completely beholden to the monied interests who either fund their shows and books, their fatuous groups--like the Hoover Institute, etc., and their insisdeous bottom card--the fake state. Or what? Can you name one that hasn't been such a puppet? The current FOX crew are obvious, while the radio shows--Limpdick and hannity--are similarly obvious. David Brooks? Tom Friedman? Bought and paid for.

"Liberal" radio has been tried. It is very tough to dissect, analyze, and debate topics without the benefit of common sense to support your arguments. Air America was the latest offering, and despite propping from Soros, it stood no chance. Concur with what Rooster said. While I don't always agree with Miller, he is almost always funny and entertaining. His intellect is above and beyond that of most radio windbags like Rush, Hannity and company. His refs are clever as are his non sequiturs. Spare me the experiment on MNF...this guy was genius on Saturday Night Live and continues to be on radio.
