I get home from work today and flip on the TV to a local news station just in time to watch the last 10 minutes of a 30 minute car chase that started in KCMO and ended in KCK. This robbery suspect and his partner are driving 100 mph the wrong way down State Ave. trying to elude cops from 2 cities who are in hot pursuit. He pulls off road, thru a park and then a residential area before slamming into the back of another vehicle so hard his left front wheel breaks off and bounces down the street.
A man jumps out of the passenger door and runs up to a nearby house and tries to hide in some bushes. There are two cops not far behind and the first cop spots him in the bushes, dives in and proceeds to beat the shit out of him. I think this was a KCMO cop, thoroughly pissed off by now.
What I want to know is if he went to parochial school K-12?

Criminals always used to love seeing us firemen show up on the scene to check " welfare and condition". Because right before we arrived, the cops stopped beating the shit out of them and were just standing around chilling "waiting" for us. Couple of times they were not so subtle, and I saw the boots put to some dudes a couple of times.
