In prison, full moon nights have a kind of brutal sodomy that can't fully be described with mere words.

I'm working tomorrow.

not cold enough to accumulate... yet. It's snowing cat's and dogs here at this minute. If the temp drops a few degrees, and it probably will, look out. We'll be buried, again. Worst of it supposed to start about 3 am and continue for 7-8 hours. People are paranoid after the last one, clearing off store shelves and canceling everything.
But if this is a false alarm, I'm not complaining. My back is still sore from shoveling.

Are you sure? Might not want to take any unnecessary chances.

The good news is that it stayed right at or near freezing so the roads are in pretty good shape. The bad news is that copious amounts of wet, heavy snow are crashing tree limbs all over, knocking out power to thousands. Luckily, not to my shit hole as of yet
But I've got a mess of tree limbs to clean up come March. Hey $cott, can I borrow your chain saw and wood chipper?

We've gotten at least 8" so far, and now it's just blowing snow, but they're predicting more snowfall later. After the dry summer we had, the moisture is appreciated by the farmers.

We've had so much rain lately that my dogs look like they're skiing when they run across the yard.
If your dogs were up here, Sam, they actually
could ski across the yard. :) FWIW, my dogs love playing outside in this weather.

Looks like you got more south than we did. But we had plenty, I probably won't find my paper from last Thursday or today until April
Hope the trees bounce back
go out there and shake 'em, they'll bounce right back. Mine, not so much. Big ass broken limbs lying everywhere as these are some older trees. What's left of them are old, anyway. Got this one oak tree limb that's normally 20 foot high hanging down and touching the ground now. I'd go out there and cut it down right now if I had a chainsaw handy...
