Falcons get Jackson.

Re: Falcons get Jackson.
Seems as though once a RB joins the NFL, his "age" is determined by the number of carries over his career.
ATL swapped one dude with a few carries left in him for a dude with not-quite-twice-as-many.
Hell, Frank The Inconvenient Truth Gore seems like he's been rode hard, and everyone wonders how many carries are left in his body... and he isn't anywhere close to Jackson's carries.
Safe to say, I won't be rooting for the team with the Beaver backfield. But if they put a sheep in the end zone, those guys will score TDs like nobody's business. Just watch out for the celebration... probably don't want the kids to see it.

You probably did know that, Sam, but, since you're getting a little long in the tooth, you just forgot. :)Sudden Sam wrote:How the hell was I not aware of that?!Mace wrote:Some animal's teeth get longer with age.Sudden Sam wrote:Getting a little long in the tooth (where the hell did that phrase originate?!)

I've heard a somewhat different explanation.Sudden Sam wrote:How the hell was I not aware of that?!Mace wrote:Some animal's teeth get longer with age.Sudden Sam wrote:Getting a little long in the tooth (where the hell did that phrase originate?!)
As we (human beings, that is) age our gums tend to recede, which makes one's teeth look like they are longer.
