A couple of weeks back in another thread, I mentioned Bowling For Soup as a sort of alternative to the Knack, now that they no longer exist.
These songs and vids are a pretty fair representation of thier music and twisted humor. Solid pop-rock comedy.

I have their cover of Modern English's "I Melt With You" that's not too bad.
