He definitely showed he was fading fast when he said this about "Jack the Giant Slayer."

I'm pleased to report, however, "Jack the Giant Slayer" is a rousing, original and thoroughly entertaining adventure. Director Bryan Singer, a first-rate cast and a stellar team of screenwriters, set designers and special-effects wizards have dusted off an old and (let's face it) never particularly compelling fairy tale and have given us a great-looking thrill ride in which we actually care about a number of characters.

We actually went to see that movie, I'm embarrassed to say, and it was one of the worst pieces of crap since Shanghai Surprise.

sure thing....Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001....while on it's face, it seemed like an equitable deal for everyone, but the reality is that this was disproportionately rewarding to the richest people...the more money you made, the better off this was for you

Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003-this was the one that lowered taxes on dividend income and and capital gains taxes.....again, these aren't typically the types of tax reforms that are going to benefit the average joe, they were designed to help the richest people out....now there's noting inherently wrong with lowering taxes, but when you're in the middle of two wars, logic would seem to dictate that maybe you might want to hold off on passing legislation that will reduce the revenues flowing in, especially when you've got wars to fund.....but, he decided that the Heritage Foundations conclusion that enacting this would result in the elimination of the US debt by 2010.....even the most optimistic economists had to laugh at that assertion

Obama got us out of Iraq (and we are no longer hemorrhaging the monies we were previously in that useless exercise) and hopefully by 2014 will have us out of Afghanistan which should in turn reduce the amount of money we're spending in that shithole.....

Call me crazy, but I think it's entirely possible that both sides here are correct: 1. There are far too many worthless turds in this country who feel permanently entitled to things they don't deserve, and our government is more than happy to pander to them by taking from the wealthy and middle class to give it to them. This is a drain on our economy. 2. There are far too many large companies making unnecessary record profits on necessary goods and services as a result of our government handing them sweetheart deals. Also, our government often engages in outright theft of its citizenry's hard-earned money. This is a drain on our economy.
