Sam, I challenge you to a rustic country PET-off!
Here are the rules, if you accept. We each post five photos. Each photo must cover one of the following:
#1 The "pretty countryside" photo
You know, it could be the sun setting over the tree line with a barn in the background. That kind of thing.
#2 The "token hot chick" photo
Pretty self-explanatory. I have a feeling you might get me on this one. :|
The "talent" in our little towns up here is pretty scarce.
#3 The "strange or bizarre" photo
You see all sorts of odd shit once you get into some of these hickvilles. Just the other day I saw a tree in the middle of nowhere with what must have been a hundred pairs of shoes dangling from its branches. Stuff like that.
#4 The "that's pretty fucking cool!" photo
Spot a bear crossing in the middle of the road? That's pretty fucking cool.
#5 The "fat guy" photo
The biggest, fattest yokel you can find.
Rules
#1 No pulling photos off the net (duh)
#2 No posting of old photos. Can only post pics you've taken from this date forward.
We'll have to go on the honor system for these two rules.
Deadline is July 12th. At that point I will create the PET-off thread where we can post our submissions and our fellow board members can cast their votes for their favorite boring ass backwoods PET.
You in?

This just might have some promise, unlike a Hometown Buffet when Spray walks through the door.

At last something fresh in here. We'll be watching, AND I'll be taking my camera with me for a while.

What R-Jack said. Photo #3 allows for quite a bit of "artistic license," so if that's the route you want to go, kcdave, knock yourself out.
Geeeeeeeez, this is why we can't have nice things. I was nice enough to let you in, and now you're trying to tinker with the rules.

Not exactly the easiest thing in the world to do. Seems that "old perv guy at the pool" is frowned upon around here.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:#2 The "token hot chick" photo

Yeah, I'm gonna have to pull out as well.
Just haven't had many opportunities. I knew this was a bad idea but The Deciders INSISTED on it.

I am still in, and ready to go Sunday, or I will be ok with another date, should you all decide to choose one.
