I was bumping around and I came across a clip of Meghan McCain recently appearing on THE FACTOR.

She was talking about the horrahs of internet bullying -- and how it was unfortunate that people can go around abusing other human beings in anonymity.
Sounded as if she was advocating mandatory internet ID, but she didn't say precisely - and O'Reilly didn't press her on that.

I guess in her world, a person could no longer just roll up somewhere with their favorite I beat off under my desk moniker and start laying down takes.

Anyway, M. McCain was bemoaning the reality that a lot of folks (and mostly kids) off themselves every day because they are gettin' the cr@p kicking out of them on the interweb, and it becomes too much for them to handle.

That''s interesting.

But most interesting was when she started talking about how unfortunate slut-shaming is.

I had vaguely heard this term before, but never gave it that much consideration.

So I decided to consider it -- and hit Google up.

Now I better understood what it was ---> so I looked a little further to find a good example of slut-shaming.

This lady in Tejas has four children.
Three boys and one girl.
She apparently didn't like the way some girlfriends of her precious boys had been presenting themselves on Facebook, so she posted an open letter on Facebook for all to see.

A few excerpts:

- We have teenage sons, and so naturally there are quite a few pictures of you lovely ladies to wade through. Wow — you sure took a bunch of selfies in your pajamas this summer! … It appears that you are not wearing a bra.

- I get it — you’re in your room, so you’re heading to bed, right? But then I can’t help but notice the red carpet pose, the extra-arched back, and the sultry pout. What’s up? None of these positions is one I naturally assume before sleep, this I know.

- Those posts don’t reflect who you are! We think you are lovely and interesting, and usually very smart. … I know your family would not be thrilled at the thought of my teenage boys seeing you only in your towel.

- Did you know that once a male sees you in a state of undress, he can’t ever un-see it? You don’t want the Hall boys to only think of you in this sexual way, do you?

- We hope to raise men with a strong moral compass, and men of integrity don’t linger over pictures of scantily clad high-school girls.

- There are boys out there waiting and hoping for women of character. Some young men are fighting the daily uphill battle to keep their minds pure, and their thoughts praiseworthy.

To my knowledge, none of the "sluts" this Texas mother shamed decided to kill themself, but they were no doubt deeply wounded by the hurtful and sarcastic public chastisement she administered to them.

And if they don't still yet decide to go harry carry, I am sure they will now re-evaluate the situation and carry on by putting a halt to their public sluttish teenage antics.

Do you people have any comments to make on all of this?

Rack those boys for getting over on their mom, who may not be a slut, but certainly is dumber than a pile of rocks.
