Oregon turnover at the goal line. Hopefully this one stays interesting.

You would think if Oregon can recruit 87 guys who can run a 3.9 40, they could find at least one guy that can execute a kickoff.

fUCLA brought it... for a half.

And a little late for shot-calling, but the Sheepfuckers are going to give Furd all they can handle. Furd's pass defense sucks, and (not THE) OSU has the best pass attack in the country, which is a good thing for them, since their run game is nonexistant.

Speaking of ntOSU's run game -- anyone ever seen Storm Woods with his helmet off or in street clothes? Dude looks like he's 50 years old.

Hundley has regressed from last year. Probably the 4th or 5th best QB in the Pac....laughable all the talk about him leaving for the league.

I hope all the stinking Mazzones are out of Westwood next year...Playcalling has been limp since before Stanford.

Seer, I think it was more a matter of your team getting its ass kicked in the 2nd half by a defensive coordinator you hate... hehehehe.

Alioti had your number in the 2nd half.

Barr us still one nasty beast. Not sure I wouldn't take him over Clowney the Lazy Clown if I was an NFL GM.

Close game. But definitely not due to Stanford's lack of pass defense. Trent Murphy is an animal. Comparing him to JJ Watt may have been taking it a bit far, but definitely cut from a similar mold.

Like I said a couple of weeks ago, shitty play calling and inconsistent execution on offense is what kills them.

Disagree. Pass defense isn't very good -- the defense against the inside run is outstanding. Murphy, Gardner, and Skov are all freaking animals. So naturally, on 4th and short, Riley decides to run right at them... makes sense to me.

Stanford's dream dies a week from Thursday. If they had trouble with the Beav's defense, just wait and see what happens against O.

You must have been watching a different game than I was.

Stopping OSU's running game is a no brainer. Some of those eight sacks were made possible by coverage in the secondary. It was a combination of the fierce rush and good coverage that kept a lid on Mannion and Cooks for most of the game. Swarming to the ball and positive tackling also helped keep any of those short completions from turning into big plays. No completions over 20 yards by Mannion and none over 14 to Cooks is a testament to the entire defense.

Two key turnovers and ineffectiveness of the offense is what made is close in the end.
