1. FSU. I watched the first quarter of both FSU and Alabama. FSU was more impressive. Sorry, SS.
2. Alabama.
3. Oregon.
4. Ohio State. That was an ass-kicking they gave PSU.
5. Baylor. They score a lot.
6. Miami. They'll be long gone after they play FSU.
7. Stanford. Still not 100% sold on them.
8. Auburn. They looked almost as dominant in the first quarter as FSU & 'Bama did yesterday. They had their second stringers in midway through the 2nd quarter, and 3rd stringers in for most of the 2nd half.
9. Clemson. They haven't looked all that the last 3 games.
10. Texas A&M.

Clemson doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 imo. Perennially overrated team/program. Even in their best years they can't win the crappy ACC. Caught some of their game against Maryland; their pass defense is atrocious. Georgia is their best win, and that doesn't look impressive anymore.

Yet that's the "signature victory" you used as rationale for vaulting FSU to #2. And that's by far FSU most "impressive" win.

I know, I know -- it's ypur eyeball test to do with what you like. FSU will likely jump to BCS #2 next week, and assuming Oregon Beats Stanford, will be looking up at O the rest of the way (assuming both win out).

You've got to understand something - you're in the SEC LEast. Most of UGA's and Florida's players are in the hospital right now - both very beatable. SC isn't Top 10 material. I had y'all at #7 last week.

You might have a point about Clemson, though. They've been pretty questionable in their last 3 games. How 'bout I slide them out to #11, move everybody else up a notch and have Mizzou at 10? I don't think Mizzou is on A&M or Auburn's level right now. Not trying to be a homer, but that's how it be. Had Mizzou won out on the rest of their schedule, I'd probably damn near have them at about #2...

You may not be trying to be a homer, Willie, but I'd be remiss not to point out that outside of 'bama, the West doesn't exactly scare much of anybody either. LSU is mortal this year, and A&M doesn't play defense. I see that y'all have a chance to be Arkansas state champs this weekend, and that's commendable, but you people haven't even left the Central time zone yet, much less traveled north of the Mason-Dixon line.

I ain't saying that Mizzou belongs in any Top 10 poll. But I aint sure Aubie belongs in there, either.

It's been discussed in the local media corcles -- there's "Old Duck Fan," and "bandwagon Duck Fan." Old Fan has been rooting for Oregon forever, and doesn't have the sense of entitlement towards success, since they remember many a year without it. Bandwagon Duck Fan started following in the last 10-12 years, and doesn't appreciate things because they don't remember the "Old Days."
