One Tin Soldier Rides Away
RIP Tom Laughlin (Billy Jack) the baddest 70s dude this side of Charles Bronson. OK and maybe Clint. Pretty fucking bad though.

What about Hondo from swat?
Re: One Tin Soldier Rides Away
The quiet guy that doesn't want to fight, but will kick your ass if you push him too far.
Grasshopper definitely fits this bill, and so does Billy Jack.
One of my favorite all time movies, though, is Mr. Majestyk. From a screenplay by Elmore Leonard (the undisputed master of the genre), Vince Majestyk just wants to be left in peace to harvest his watermelons...

One more guy that fits into this category was based on a real-life story and person. Buford Pusser, a Tennessee sheriff who in near single handed (and holding a verrry big stick) fashion took back his town from drugs and corruption.

Joe Don Baker owned this role. Forget about the remake with the Rock, this is the real deal and it is from the same film era.
