Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden...

and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28.

When I greet people, I naturally ask, "How are you?"

Most often the response is, "Fine... but I'm a little tired."

People are tired, stressed, and often sick.

This is in sharp contrast to how the Bible describes man's state, prior to being separated from the Creator.

But if you read Genesis 3:1-21 http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/k/kjv/kjv ... &byte=1477, you can see the troubling state man has gone into by following, and being captive to, the evil one.

Nervous, lying, hiding, justifying himself, blaming others (and God).
Man went into a cursed existence.
And while before, man lived at ease as a child under the full and loving care of a Father, he now had to find his own way and LABOR just so that he could survive.

This is how people are.

We need rest and we need it desperately.

Jesus promises and delivers the rest, I can assure you.

You enter a completely different state when you take the Christ and go back to how you are intended to be.

I testify to it.

As a believer, my background is one of stress, worry, anxiety.
That is still my nature -- because I spent years trying to fend for myself in the world.

But God has absolutely taken responsibility for my life, and every circumstance is now within His plan and grace, such that there is NOTHING to worry about and NOTHING can be a problem.
I am a citizen of heaven, not earth. I just walk here.
Philippians 3:20.

John 19:30
It is finished.

Do you really think the board members want to see threads such as this up in the Cul de Smack?

I have no problem putting them there, but I suspect some folks won't dig it.

I get it, you're afraid.

It's okay, you're merely an imperfect human, right?

We're all sinners, allegedly.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

This forum was started because people were not happy to see "religion" posts going up in the Cul de Smack.

Like I said, I'm fine myself with those discussions going there -- but I'm just double-checking with you to see if that's really how you want to roll.
