Despite what some of the legal experts here led us to believe, the US 3rd Court of Appeals in New Orleans upheld the new Texas Abortion laws.
According to the NYTimes the number of abortion clinics in Texas today is 24. This is down from a high of 44 a few years ago. In Sept the number is expected to be no more than 6 due to the final parts of the law taking effect. This final part requires all abortion clinics to meet the same standards as day surgical centers.
