Thought about trying to do a show from the bar last night, even took my Mac & had it in my car, but it wouldn't have worked out well. Had a great time w/ Mr. & Mrs. 88, Screwy, & mama. Someone else is gonna have to take the reins next Fri, too.

I had to turn down a chance to see The Good Rats play a few years ago. Not happy about that one. Kind of ranks up there with missing a Kinks show because of midterms, papers etc. back in my college days.

If Tune Town is on hiatus tonight, I may fire up DJay/Nicecast and play some of my iTunes tonight. Check in around 9 PM EDT if you are so inclined. A mix of tunes from all decades will be on my play list.

Looks like Wolfie mighta played for a little while. If there are no objections from Bri or anyone else, I'd like to make up for last night's absence this evening by gettin' my spin on. I'll even go so far as to say it'll be a new & improved version of TuneTown. The music will be as crappy as ever, but there should be a noticeable upgrade in one aspect of the program. Tune in & find out.

New and improved? Piqued my interest. I played for an hour (9-10 EDT) and chatted with Diego before I conked out. Sorry I missed some of you.

Probably not. Didn't play Friday, and the War Dept provisioned me a new mic & authorized a field test of it last night. Probably will go back to my regular Friday sked going forward.

Methinks they'll have their own deejays. Of course, I doubt doing a show from there is your primary motivation for going.

I finish up class around noon Friday. Planning on headed down to DC and ride my bike around and see the sites. Probably check into a hotel in the area that evening. Going to the Norfolk area Saturday to hang out with an old Navy buddy and head back to Edgewod Sunday night.

Maybe Screwy can join us and make a mini troll stop out of it.

Will mama be out of town?

Hey, I resemble that statement.

Anyway, greetings from casa de SC. We just stumbled back from a local watering hole where we chatted with some old retired chairforce dude and talked mostly about sea stories and which of you miscreants we'd actually like to meet in real life.

Jake the beagle is really friendly.... a little too friendly actually. But no worries, Dave's doing a pretty good job of cockblocking him.

If anyone is so inclined, I'll be watching the first round of the NFL draft from 8 PM EDT on and play tunes for background music. Running commentary is also allowed. FYI- I officiated a couple of high school games down here that Sammy Watkins played in. His talent was evident then. I wish him well tonight. He should be a player on Sundays.
