The guy occupying the highest office in the land is a TOTAL FRAUD -- and his supposed "papers" are completely bogus.

And YOU voted for him.

Now, it wasn't little ol' me who wanted anarchy.

Think it over.

Don't be a PC squishy.

The man talks like guys from his generation talk.

He spoke of wanting BETTER for both blacks and illegal Mexicans.

Indeed. The real issue is that Harry Reid has other plans for that piece of land and Bundy is in his way. This has nothing to do with grazing fees or desert tortoises. This is about a blatantly corrupt political piggy gorging himself at the trough.
and what plans would that be? leasing it to another rancher for grazing? fracking for oil? how would any of this benefit Reid?
the land doesn't belong to bundy, it belongs to the United States and is managed by the Bureau of Land Management......had he paid his grazing fees (which he did until 1993) we wouldn't be having this discussion......but when he quit paying the fees, he voided the lease agreement with the feds.....it was his choice not to pay and he lost......

Now, questions surrounding family ties are flaring again in Nevada around the Senate majority leader. He and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert.

Reid has been one of the project's most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada. His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.

So what happened in 1993, hmm? He just woke up one morning and decided to stop paying his grazing fees? Is that how it went down?

If he quit paying in 93, and wasn't kicked off the land he was trespassing on by the owner, he's fully entitled to a prescriptive easement for eternity. They had until 1998 to take action to protect their property, and they failed to do so. He now has rights to the property.

So someone isn't obeying the law, but some people seem confused as to who it is.

apparently so, you'd have to ask him why he stopped paying.....hundreds of other ranchers pay grazing fees, why should bundy be exempted?

Mitigation for the loss of habitat the solar project would entail.
apparently so, you'd have to ask him why he stopped paying.
No need. In 1993 the BLM decided that that was sensitive habitat for the desert tortoise, restricted the size of his herd to 150 head and jacked up the grazing fees.
....hundreds of other ranchers pay grazing fees, why should bundy be exempted?
There aren't any other ranchers in that area. They all complied with this finding and they are all now ex-ranchers.
ever heard of the Taylor Grazing Act? If not, look it up.....
Ever heard of Fuck You and your progtard bullshit? Look it up. Overgrazing is a self-correcting problem that doesn't require micromanagement from bureaucratic pinheads thousands of miles away.

So he should just meekly acquiesce to the destruction of his business and livelihood? Is that it? The government should just be able to waltz in and say, "Oh, look! A turtle!" and then your entire life and everything you've built is flushed down the fucking toilet just like that?

What, exactly, is he "stealing"? Be specific.

The grass the cattle are feeding on
Oh, dear. How much is that grass setting you back? And isn't it our grass? Personally, I couldn't care less if he grazes cattle on that land. I like eating beef. If you weren't an idiot, you might understand that a ranch with 900 head of cattle is worth more to society in product sold and tax paid than one with 150 head...or none at all.

Of course, this isn't about money. It's about control. Keep licking those boots like a good little holster sniffer and maybe they'll fuck you last.

Close. How about it's like the guy who pulls a piece when the repo man shows up or the guy who brings his shotgun to the door when cops show up for an unlawful detainer?

No need. In 1993 the BLM decided that that was sensitive habitat for the desert tortoise, restricted the size of his herd to 150 head and jacked up the grazing fees.

define "jacked up"
and while your at it, provide me a trendline analysis relating increases in grazing permit fees to the price of beef....

I can help you out with that a little by pulling his last authorized grazing permit and we can take a look at the escalation in grazing permit fees over the last 20 years that he hasn't been paying and see if we can correlate that with beef prices...I'd tell you it's an effort in futility, but I know you're the determined kind....
There aren't any other ranchers in that area. They all complied with this finding and they are all now ex-ranchers.
so you're stating as fact that every ranch operation that was previously located in that area is out of business? you're a fucking moron.....cattle ranchers don't give a fuck what land they're using....cattle ranchers move their operations all the time. incorporating new lands.....cattle ranches are very fluid operations and people that know what they're doing can do very well.....they all pay up.....this fuckwit doesn't think he should pay? why does he merit special consideration.....
Overgrazing is a self-correcting problem that doesn't require micromanagement from bureaucratic pinheads thousands of miles away.
thanks, you've demonstrated that you know absolutely nothing about federal grazing permits nor ranching.....
I'm going to use that "self correcting problem" quote the next time I'm on a working cattle ranch.....I want to see how long it takes them to stop laughing their asses off.....jeezus palamino
